Furniture that will not hurt or scratch
Little children run, climb and bump into things, so safety is designed into every piece, not added later:
- Rounded corners and edges on beds, desks and side tables, with edge banding that does not chip into sharp bits.
- Soft-close drawers and hinges, so small fingers do not get caught.
- Tall wardrobes and shelves fixed to the wall so they cannot tip over when climbed.
- No glass at low heights, and mirrors fixed firmly where needed.
- Laminates and finishes that resist scratches and are easy to wipe.
- Boards and paints with low emissions, so the room is safe to sleep in from the first night.
For bunk beds, the upper bed gets a high guard rail, and storage steps are easier and safer to climb than a ladder.
Designed with your child, not just for them
We ask children what they love. Some want a jungle with lions and giraffes, some want space and planets, some want a favourite colour everywhere. We turn that into a room that still looks calm and well put together.
We then help you choose and arrange the soft things that make a room feel like theirs: bedsheets and pillow covers in the theme, cushions, wallpaper or a painted mural, rugs and curtains. We also plan storage for soft toys and books, and help you pick a few toys and decor pieces that suit the room.
A room that grows with them
The big furniture stays and the decor changes. We keep beds, wardrobes and desks in calm, neutral colours and bring in the theme through wallpaper, bedding, cushions and wall art. When your eight-year-old becomes a teenager, you change those, not the whole room.
A study desk that can be raised later, and shelves that hold toys today and textbooks tomorrow, keep the room useful through school and exam years.
Rooms for two children
For a brother and sister, or two children of different ages, each child gets their own storage, their own shelf and their own corner, with shared space in the middle. A bunk bed or trundle bed frees floor space for play and study. See also our bedroom interiors page if you are doing the parents' room at the same time.
Girls' bedroom interior design
For a girl's bedroom, we start with what she loves. Some girls want a pastel room with a canopy bed and fairy lights, others want football posters, science models or a painting corner. We turn her choice into a room that feels like hers: a theme wall or wallpaper, bedding and cushions she picked, a dressing corner as she grows, and plenty of shelves for books and collections.
Behind the fun, the furniture stays safe and practical, so the room still works when she is a teenager preparing for board exams.
Boys' bedroom interior design
A boy's room often needs to handle more energy: climbing, building, sports gear and a lot of toys. We plan sturdy furniture with rounded edges, washable walls, open bins for quick tidying and hooks for bags and sports kit. Themes range from cars and rockets to cricket and superheroes, kept to the bedding, wall art and a feature wall so they can change easily.
Teenage room design
Teenagers want a room that feels grown up. We move from bright themes to calmer colours, add a proper study desk with good lighting and cable management for laptops, more wardrobe space, and a corner of their own for music, gaming or reading. Involving them in the choices makes them far more likely to keep the room tidy.
